Our customized program, developed by women specializing in pregnancy and postpartum athleticism, will help you meet your exercise and nutrition goals safely and successfully after having a baby.

Our Story

Being professionals in the healthcare and fitness industry as a physical therapist and a strength and conditioning coach, we found a real disconnect between exercise and pregnancy and postpartum stages of life.  Some women were being told not to exercise, while others were told to “just listen to their bodies” and had no idea what to listen to!  We found women were either really deconditioned because they were fearful they would hurt themselves, or on the other side, had lots of painful issues from pushing themselves too early.  As moms ourselves who have experienced low back pain, prolapse, and peeing with exercise,  we felt this frustration first hand and we knew we could make a difference in women’s lives so we created FitPartum™.

Our programs help all moms and moms-to-be continue moving, exercising, and staying healthy during pregnancy and postpartum stages. We want you to be confident in how your body looks, feels, moves, and functions while minimizing any symptoms like pain, leaking, pelvic organ prolapse, and more.

FitPartum is a step by step guide back to exercise, both lower and higher intensity, that is safe, fun, and works for every mom’s busy life. Our team helps you take the time you need to recover, sleep, hydrate, and care for your baby (and other kids!), while also managing some sweat time to help you feel better. We want to build long term success for you to continue exercising throughout your life and being the example you want for your kids!

Our Founders

Fitpartum™ was founded by a physical therapist, personal trainer, and a strength and conditioning coach who teamed up to give the most accurate and up to date information on the changing world of women’s health and exercise. As moms ourselves who have experienced pelvic organ prolapse, back pain, leaking with exercise, pelvic pain, deconditioning, and other issues related to pregnancy and postpartum exercise, we have the unique opportunity to bring real-world experience and knowledge to every woman. The FitPartum Program at KFIT includes both Pregnancy and Postpartum programs to help you keep active throughout your pregnancy and after.

Dr. Kellie Bedoni is a practicing physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and the female athlete, helping women through all life stages. With over 20 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, she is able to quickly assess the human body and prescribe the appropriate program. Over the course of her career, she has participated in many educational conferences related to the female athlete and women’s health. As a mother of 3 boys and a former collegiate athlete, Dr. Bedoni has a passion for helping women participate in a healthy and active lifestyle during and after pregnancy.

Ally Hayes, MS, BS, CSCS

Ally Hayes has been in the fitness & strength and conditioning world for over 15 years. After graduating with her Masters in Strength and Conditioning, Ally began training all levels of athletes, including division 1 athletes to pre-teens all-stars. After training hundreds of clients, Ally found her passion focusing on the female athlete throughout their life stages, particularly pregnancy and postpartum stages. She achieved both her Strength and Conditioning Certification and Pregnancy and Postpartum Specialist Certification to help women reach their goals of a healthy and active lifestyle. Ally is a mother of 2 children as well as a former athlete, so she relates to the struggle yet the drive many mothers have which is what drives her passion to help women during and after pregnancy.
